Multiple Ebay Accounts

December 17th, 2007

By: Lisa Page

Once again, Lisa Page has some good advice. I never thought about having 2 or more ebay accounts, but it sure makes sense if you’re selling things that just don’t work well together, like vegan cookbooks and leather coats. LOL I also didn’t know about listing stuff so that the auctions end at peak selling times after work.

Having more than one ebay account is allowed by ebay. There are many advantages to having more than one ebay account. You may want to spread your company around, instead of buying and selling many things with one ebay account.

You could have a separate account just to buy. This is a little secret of powersellers. Maybe you like to buy low and resell high. Now you can buy with your buyer account and resell with your seller account. This way, nobody will know what you paid for the item. Some people just look at your recent feedback, to see if you bought it on ebay. If you keep your buyer account just to buy, they will never know you are buying with one account and reselling it for a higher price on your seller account. If you buy at the off-peak time of day on ebay, you can get some really good deals. When you find great deals, use it to your advantage. Use your seller account, to resell the item at peak times. Dropship on the WWW

December 13th, 2007

By: Greg Duncan

There is no doubt that you can dropship on the WWW (world wide web) and make
a substantial additional income by selling wholesale items on eBay or through an
online website. Many have done it, but they did it with a real dropship list for
WWW retailers. In order to compete you are going to need a dropship list of real
dropship wholesalers that will dropship products to businesses on the WWW and
and offer their business to a small retailer on the WWW.

You will not go anywhere unless you have a legitimate list of dropship
product suppliers with real wholesale prices. And if you don’t want to do any
package handling, you’ll need a supplier that offers dropshipping, or the
ability to ship one order at a time, to customers on the WWW.

There are a lot of scams on the market right now. When you type in “wholesale
list” on Google, you might find 1 legitimate dropship list on the WWW out of
thousands. They claim to be legitimate and they might even look real. But these
supposed dropship lists are usually middlemen.

A real wholesale dropship supplier on the WWW is a legitimate discount
wholesaler that will supply you products at real wholesale prices. These are
hard to come by, but the one that I bought and the only one verified by eBay is
the “Dropship Source Directory.” This is a list of thousands of real verified
dropship suppliers on the WWW that will offer you immediate access to their
inventory. There are lots of fakes on the WWW so you have to be careful, but the
Dropship Source Directory is not.

Once you have your dropship list of suppliers, you are then able to market
these products on the WWW through eBay or your online store. Having a real
dropship list of WWW suppliers with a variety of products is important so you
can choose a niche and market specifically to that, since there is so much
competition on the market. Do not try to market products on the WWW that have
been excessively marketed, such as computer software or clothing. Unless you
have very specific niche items you will not do well. If you are a great
salesperson you might be able to compete, but there are no guarantees.

To start off your dropship business on the WWW on the right foot, get a real
dropship list. Don’t put yourself through the hassle and stress of getting a
list of middlemen, marketing a product, and finding out that you are losing
money on it.

Finding The Right Dropship Product For Ebay

December 11th, 2007

By: Jake Foster

Finding the right dropship product for your ebay auction can be a daunting
task. However there are a few things to keep in mind when searching for your
product line. Factor in the cost and availability of the product line in
question and you may have that perfect product for your dropship business
venture.

Cost and Availability

First and foremost, no matter what product you want to sell on ebay. Price is
always a factor. If you can’t make a profit on the dropship product. Why even
bother. This is a fact that most overlook when choosing a dropship product for
their online business. Do your research, search the online auctions for similar
products and determine a average price. Figure out exactly what the shipping
charges would be and any sort of maintenance that may be required for the
dropship product in question.

Know your Products

Everyone wants to be in the highest profit margin they can be in. But what
most people fail to realize is that if they don’t know anything about the
dropship product line they are selling, many problems can arise and usually
their auction descriptions are not very well written. This will turn potential
buyers away, and they will lose sales because of one simple fact. They didn’t
know the product they tried to sell. For instance, if you’re a mechanic by
trade, you would know that hot new product that just came out that gives your
car more horsepower, better fuel economy, etc. You could even go into the
intricate details on how the product works because you are familiar with the
concept and the automotive industry. In other words, would you feel more
comfortable buying hair care products from your local salon, or would you rather
buy them from the hardware store on the corner.

The bottom line

Getting into a dropship product business is pretty straight forward, however
finding the dropship product that is right for your home based business may take
a bit more work. Do your research and find that perfect product to sell on
eBay.

Real Wholesale Dropship Companies

December 9th, 2007

By: Jake Foster

When you?re starting in the wholesale dropship business. The company that
provides the products you sell can make or break your business before you even
start. With the marketplace flooded with middlemen, finding a real wholesale
dropship company is hardly an easy task.

Real wholesale dropship companies are harder to find because no one wants to
share their secret little niche wholesaler with everyone, they think by doing
this, they?ll lose their bread and butter. While this may hold some validity, we
at Buy Wholesale Directory have a different take on the situation. We believe
that wholesale dropship sources should be available to all, at no cost. With the
internet as vast as it is, finding these wholesale dropship companies can be a
pain, but with time and research, you should be able to find a wholesale
dropship company that can make your business grow and be profitable for you.

The trick to finding real wholesale dropship companies is to know the warning
signs of the middlemen. These middlemen have one common denominator, and that is
to take your money while you do most of the work. Below are some tips to look
for when choosing a wholesale dropship company.

Is there any fee? If a wholesale dropship company charges a fee for
membership, this may be a sign that it is not a real wholesale dropship company.
Some real wholesale dropshippers do charge a fee for membership, but it is
usually to cover credit apps, processing, etc. which will not be a recurring
fee.

Phone number and address available? A true wholesale dropship company will
list phone numbers and their physical address. If they have a warehouse that
contains 50,000 products, odds are there is an address for that warehouse.

Is their products rehashed images from some other website, or are they
original. When a company has physical possession of a product, odds are that the
image they use is their own, and not copied from some other location. Middlemen
may use images of products copied from somewhere else on the web, simply because
they don?t have possession of the product they intend to sell to you. They are
using dropshipping also, which will cut into your profits.

While there are other warning signs to look for when choosing a real
wholesale drophip company its best to remember these tips when choosing a
wholesale dropshipper. Buy Wholesale Directory lists wholesale dropship
companies and does not charge a fee for their service, which makes finding a
wholesale dropship company easier.

Other tips for wholesale dropship companies include making sure you have a
tax id. True wholesale dropshippers will need your tax id to do business with
you if they are a true wholesaler. Not having a tax id will definitely make your
hunt for a real wholesale dropship company harder. Tax ids are not costly and
only require a bit of time to complete the necessary forms and reports. In
short, get a tax id, and find true wholesale dropship companies to support your
new business.

Five Reasons Why You Should Sell eBooks on eBay

December 6th, 2007

By: John Thornhill

EBay is one of the best and biggest online auction sites in the world. EBay is one among the top 5 auction sites with regards to web traffic. EBay is highly customer friendly as it allows the visitors to buy or sell stuff. So if you are looking out for a best selling option for your eBook, then dont look further because eBay is the best in selling eBooks. You can sell your eBook through eBay as a separate product or you can pack it up with high selling products that are usually sold in the auctions. You can also approach an only one of its kind slant, by dealing with sellers who sell somewhat similar products and then forward your eBooks that need to be included in the auctions. You can also request them to give your eBooks to their buyers as bonus. No matter what option you select, you will be happy to select eBay as your selling source.

- Money-First, list your eBooks and then place a tag saying “Buy it now” so that it generates instant sale. If you want to gain higher profits, then try and sell compound copies as a package or give away additional benefits like resale rights etc. This is a quick cash injection procedure for any infopreneur.

- List building- Various infopreneurs use eBay to get better prospect and customer lists. Some infopreneurs build customer lists by offering targeted eBooks at very low prices on eBay like for example if you have an expensive eBook course on Forex in the form of eBook then you can create it in a short primer eBook form and sell it for $I or $5. This will help you make money as well as attract customers towards interesting topics showcased in your list. Once the customers see the list, then you can promote the higher priced course thus making profit without wasting too much time.

- EBooks for branding- Once you get listed in one of the biggest online markets, then you can expect a wider recognition as an author and this would indirectly enhance the sale of your eBook through eBay. This process also works towards branding yourself as an expert.

- EBooks on EBay for Research- The toughest part of finding a new project is to find a new market and if you by chance find one, then you can get a chance to create something new to market.

You should always write short and snappy eBooks and then list them on eBay. See how they sell and if you find your books selling like hot cakes then you hone your marketing skills.

- EBooks on EBay for Affiliates- EBay is not a place to look for affiliates, but you will be surprised with the results with Power Sellers on eBay.

You can moreover list your eBook on eBay and then wait for its response or turn practical and approach your sellers with a niche and encourage your eBook to your customer base. You can enhance your business by providing tempting offers, to access your qualified buyers by selling them products that benefit them.

Maganging Dropshipper Inventory

December 1st, 2007

By: Chuck LaPenta

The Fine Art of Controlling the Vast Quantity of Products for Your Dropship Business

Lemoyne, PA, October, 28, 2007: The Discount Electronics Store (Lapantz, Inc.) offers 1000s of Low-Cost, Brand-Name electronics for their online store. Even though the company is small in size, they are able to offer a very competitive price while at the same time, manage a very large inventory, keeping up with product availability and price changes.

How do they do this without a large staff of analyst to constantly comb the web to verify pricing is competitive with their competition? They have a secret weapon!

The “weapon” is automation. Its really no secret that automating a process can and will easily and quickly do the job of many individuals. The automated process is similar to that of the Google Spider process. The difference being that instead of combing the web, the companys spider does a checks and balance against the distributors inventory database. Verifying products are currently in stock and also looking at price changes.

If there has been a change in price or inventory, the automation process systematically updates the current product listing on the company website. This ensures that the product status is current, up to date and ready for the customers purchase.

Drop shipping can be a lucrative business if the right approach is taken. Yes, it can be done manually and there are those that are successful doing it this way. But, if you want to manage a large inventory of thousands of product in the quickest, most efficient way possible, your company should look into an inventory automation process.

Automation frees up time that can be spent on other aspects of the companys success. Marketing, sales and networking can now be focused on with the inventory management process being automated.

Drop Shipping Basics

November 28th, 2007

By: Lisa Page

Are you wondering about drop shipping? Here are some basic tips to get started. Keep in mind that drop shipping is a great way to start any business; But there is a lot of competition. In the past 2-4 years or so, drop shipping has become a huge market. Everyone wants to jump in and try it. The problem is, a lot of new businesses fail, because they didn’t go about it the right way.

The first thing you want to do to start drop shipping is; Find a reliable drop shipper that isn’t a middleman. In order to find a reliable drop shipper go to the source. Call the manufacturer and ask them to give you the contact information, for their authorized wholesale distributors. Some manufacturers will work with small business, but it is very rare. Sometimes you may run into a problem where the manufacturer only sells to certain retailers. So drop shipping isn’t for every product out there. For the most part, drop shipping can be very effective in starting a home business.

Product research is the next basic step, when you find a reliable drop shipper. This will take up the most of your time. You could do product research for 2-3 hours a day and you might not get anywhere. Or you could go to ebay’s seller central pages. They list all the hot items that are in season on ebay sellers central. From that information you could use it to, find products that will sell the best. Your product research should always include, comparing prices to other ebay merchants. Can your prices compete with their prices? You have to look out for categories that wholesale distributors are selling in as well. That’s right, some wholesale distributors will sell their overstock on ebay. You can’t compete with these kind of prices, so don’t try. Also remember that you are buying at drop ship prices; you won’t be able to compete with people buying bulk lots at wholesale prices. Just look for a category that has the newest gadgets with small profit margins. There won’t be any overstock with new products. Find categories with little or no competition. Start off small, sell multiple items in each auction for maximum profit.

Keep it simple. Remember to keep your business simple when you first start off. Do your research and sell 2-5 items at a time, until you find the best sellers. It’s going to take a lot of trial and error. Keep a log book of each item and how good or bad it sells. Don’t start trying to sell 100 items in your first week. You will surely fail if you try and take on too much at once. It’s going to take tons of research to find the best items to sell. So keeping it simple will help you out.

Drop shipping is great to start off any small home business. Just keep in mind, your long term goal should be buying in bulk to resell. If you drop ship, it will be harder to find products that will help you compete with other merchants. For the sole reason that: everyone is drop shipping now. Just be sure and do your research the best you can and you will surely succeed. A lot of other drop shippers are not willing to do their homework on what items will sell best. That’s where you can take advantage.

Internet Marketing Is VERY Real. And VERY Profitable.

November 25th, 2007

By: Andrew Gowans

Success on the internet as with any enterprise depends largely on being able to focus through having an absolutely clear picture of where you want to be, determining exactly how you are going to get there, and setting specific, measurable goals. If youre ready to make drastic improvements to your online earnings, then you know what to do…

The problem with affiliate programs is that the payouts are just too small to achieve any substantial income. The income we all need in order to pay those bills that come at the end of each month AND allow us to save AND allow us to spoil ourselves and our family from time to time.

Ive sold various affiliate programs that accounted for the majority of my online income in the past couple of years.

One other problem is that youre going to find lots of junk out there and in fact lots of people claiming to be top Internet marketers, guaranting you consistent high payouts but You will find that most of them use PPC (pay per click) marketing, but what they are not telling you is that this is all they know how to do!

So, lets get down to some hard truths and stop all this false teaching once and for all!

How much time have you now spent trying to find the solution you are looking for? Has anyone given you any real How To guidance on what it is you need to do to take your online business to a more successful and cash generating level?

I know many of you have been online a long time, with a lot of you online even longer than me, but its still a fact that 92% of ALL people online, regardless of experience make less than $500 a month with their internet business.

If thats the case with you then youre probably wondering what is the difference that separates you from the other 8%?

One thing Ive noticed online is that people tend to jump on the next big thing over and over again.

For example, one month a guru says “use Adsense” and so everyone is trying to use that to make money.

Then next month another guru is saying “Use Pay Per Click” … so everyone drops the Adsense business model and moves onto PPC.

But then again the following month, someone else suggests something totally different.

What happens then?

You guessed it … people drop the PPC model and move onto the next big thing.

It sounds crazy but that is EXACTLY what thousands of people are doing online today.

If they dont see immediate results within a week, they give up and move onto something else … for just another week or so.

I was guilty myself of this and it took me a LONG time to realise this is the WRONG way to do things.

See if you spot the pattern…

  • acquiring resell rights to e-Books and software products, and selling them online and on eBay
  • joining affiliate programs and buying pay per click ads to send traffic to the merchants
  • building a mailing list by giving away free e-Books, then trying to sell to the people on the list
  • building web sites, and doing the proper SEO things to get traffic to them
  • setting up blogs, and pinging the directories
  • writing articles and distributing them to dozens of article directories
  • purchasing private label rights (PLR) for thousands of other articles
  • buying high price DVD/CD courses to learn how to drive trafic to my sites
  • joining paid membership sites that provided niche products and niche product ideas
  • and much, much, more.

Like many other trying to be internet marketers, I had bought the e-Books, visited the forums, subscribed to the ezines, and tried dozens of the schemes and techniques which the gurus promised would lead me to riches. I wasnt looking for a get rich quick method, I was willing to work hard and do whatever it took.

Between the cost of the paid membership sites, and the cost of the e-Books and courses I was purchasing, I was spending a small fortune and getting nowhere.

Does that sound like you? Have you bought the books and courses, spent so much time online your family forgot what you looked like? Are you tired of all the false teaching, hype and lack of success?

If youve read this far, theres a good chance that you can somehow relate to my earlier struggles and frustration, which lasted more than two long years.

Fact is - internet marketing is VERY real. And VERY profitable.

However many aspiring internet marketers do not get the results they deserve due to these very important “missing links”:

  • A proven successful mentor - who really knows what he/shes doing, and is willing to teach others
  • A proven step-by-step system - where even a complete beginner can get results
  • A show-me environment - where you can see exactly what you should do

Having these 3 working for you will change everything.

With every great change there comes a great opportunity What Better Way To Learn Than From The Top Marketing Minds On The ?Net!

If you want to be successful online, I believe that you have to stick to a solid plan of action and try not to get distracted.

Even if youre starting out online and havent had any success at all you need to find something you can focus on that will bring you results.

Thats some of the most honest advice I can give to you - consider joining us and youll soon be able to see just how to build a REAL business that can generate a REAL income online.

If you truly want to learn everything there is to know about developing your highly profitable online business we can guide you but are you ready? Thats what you got to ask yourself.

How to make Build a Niche Store Works for You?

November 21st, 2007

By: C.Y.Lai

There’s two things in the article that were new to me. The first one was the information about Yahoo Buzz. I didn’t know that you could go to Yahoo and get a list of what people were searching for. I knew you could sign up and get that information from wordtracker, but not from Yahoo. The other was that eBay offers the same service with their eBay Pulse reports. Just go to either one of these two sites and you can gather a ton of information about what people are looking for to buy.

Build a Niche Store is a popular site builder that enables you to create niche websites focus on eBay affiliate programs. As eBay is a household name, people feel safe to conduct online shopping with them. As a result, Build a Niche Store has become very popular among the webmasters as the conversation rate of eBay affiliate website is above average. While many has reported success with Build a Niche Store, large majority of the users still struggle to make a dime with their eBay websites. There’s a common traits among successful Build a Niche Store websites: they are promoting items that people are buying! This, my friend, is the key to Build a Niche Store success.

So how do you identify the right niche for Build a Niche Store program? Firstly, we are not going to use keyword research tools. You can identify the trends with information freely available online. You just have to know where to find them. Here you are going to find some solid ideas:

How to Start an eBay Business

November 17th, 2007

By: Bill Henthorn

Here is a list of ideas on how to start a business using eBay. I like the one about an eBay-drop-off-store. We actually had a guy in Walla Walla, Washington doing that for a living for quite awhile. He advertised in the newspaper and on the cable channels. The local newspaper even did a story on him and how he could help you get rid of all that junk in your garage. So read these ideas and see if maybe it would be better if you actually dropshipped for others instead of having them dropship for you. (Right? Wouldn’t that be reverse dropshipping if you shipped stuff out for some guy who had you sell it on eBay for him? LOL)

eBay has become a great way to sell all kind of merchandise on the web. A person can start out by selling personal items they wish to get rid of and graduate to selling merchandise that they find or contract for. An eBay business can become a full time business and for some be a very profitable enterprise.

How to get started on eBay

eBay has a website that can be found on the Net that describes exactly what a potential seller on eBay needs to do. There are many other sites that offer to help and or teach you how to be successful on eBay. There is obviously no lack of information and websites that are willing to help you get started.
