Multiple Ebay Accounts

Once again, Lisa Page has some good advice. I never thought about having 2 or more ebay accounts, but it sure makes sense if you’re selling things that just don’t work well together, like vegan cookbooks and leather coats. LOL I also didn’t know about listing stuff so that the auctions end at peak selling times after work.
Having more than one ebay account is allowed by ebay. There are many advantages to having more than one ebay account. You may want to spread your company around, instead of buying and selling many things with one ebay account.
You could have a separate account just to buy. This is a little secret of powersellers. Maybe you like to buy low and resell high. Now you can buy with your buyer account and resell with your seller account. This way, nobody will know what you paid for the item. Some people just look at your recent feedback, to see if you bought it on ebay. If you keep your buyer account just to buy, they will never know you are buying with one account and reselling it for a higher price on your seller account. If you buy at the off-peak time of day on ebay, you can get some really good deals. When you find great deals, use it to your advantage. Use your seller account, to resell the item at peak times.
You may have a few different types of product. Maybe you have women’s lingerie and kids toys. Selling both those types of products with the same seller account isn’t too professional. You will have kids or parents with their kids looking at it. The parents may go to another ebay account right away, because you have adult material there. So you may want to separate the women’s lingerie in to another ebay seller account. Now you can hit both audiences with full spectrum of sales possibilities. It looks more professional if you separate all your seller accounts to sell the same types of products. It also helps if you try and make your ebay name id related to what you are selling. This can help people remember your business. Having an ebay id related to your material can mean the difference in a sale.
You can also have more than one ebay store if you have more than one account. Now you will be able to hit audiences from all sides. You will be found in more search engines related to the material you are selling on each ebay seller account. You can also advertise your other ebay id’s with your opposite account. Yes, ebay will actually let you promote your other ebay products from other ebay ids.
You basically want at least one separate ebay account. There are so many advantages to having a second or third account.
